Single: Saturday Night
Release: Taken from the album "The Pink & The Lily' out now
The Brighton resident Sandi has claimed that she partied too hard after achieving success with her debut album. She admitted that she only managed to finish working on her follow-up record thanks to the efforts of her manager Ian Brown.
However, the 'I Wish I Was A Punk Rocker' musician claimed that her wild lifestyle proved useful when it came to writing new tunes. 'Saturday Night' is about partying hard, it’s also about going out on a Saturday, which is purely a British phenomenon.

Single: Devil's Beat
Release: 19th May 2008
This single is taken from 'The Pink & The Lily' - Sandi Thom's next album.
For someone who first came to the world’s attention through her concerts in cyberspace, ‘The Pink & The Lily’ is drenched in nostalgia.
Sandi's second coming sees her with a new set of songs that are layered, complex, full of lush strings, real horns, interesting new sounds and unpronouncable percussion instruments, yet still retaining the same raw, emotionally direct feel from her debut.
She sings about the golden age of movies (the lush, cinematic ballad ‘The Last Picture House in Town’), looks back at her own childhood (‘They Don’t Make Mirrors Like They Used To’), and decries modern menaces like bad TV (the jaunty, vintage rock’n’roll of ‘Remote Control Me’), the corporate career path (the Celtic folk-tinged ‘Success’s Ladder’), or global warming (the New Orleans/zydeco influenced ‘Devil’s Beat’).
She has also included one of her most personal songs to date, the country-soul ballad ‘Wounded Heart’ – a tribute to her boyfriend and collaborator Jake Field.
Single: Lonely Girl
Release: 4th December 2006
Following on from the success of her two hits singles, Sandi Thom releases the third single from her #1 platinum selling album 'Smile It Confuses People'. 'Lonely Girl' is a heartfelt, warm ballad that showcases the full potential of Sandi's voice and is arguably the standout track on her debut album. It is an ode to the lost, isolated and abandoned and is not dissimilar to the sound of Sandi’s female influences Stevie Nicks, Joni Mitchell and Carole King.
Single: What If I'm Right
Release: 28th August 2006
Less than 10 weeks after she signed to the RCA Label group Sandi Thom scored three number ones. Her debut single 'I Wish I Was A Punk Rocker' went to the top of both the I-Tunes UK download chart and the UK singles chart. Her debut album 'Smile ... It Confuses People' climbed to number one in the album charts. 'What If I'm Right' is about having doubts in a relationship she would like to enter, but knows her other half is a very special person.

Internet phenomenon Sandi Thom releases her debut album 'Smile… It Confuses People' after a flurry of A&R attention made her the hottest singing talent in the UK right now.
