Throughout the bank holiday weekend fun events for all the family will take place outdoors in the spectacular setting of Maumbury Rings a Neolithic henge in the centre of Dorchester. These free events really hot up on Saturday with a Latino carnival procession lead by Dorchester’s own samba band. The procession will wind its way through the Town Centre to of Maumbury Rings to start the weekend’s theatre, dance and music events.

During the weekend there will be the chance to take part in workshops, build a festival sculpture or simply relax in the festival café. On Sunday you can dance the afternoon away at Dorchester’s biggest ever open-air tea dance followed by tea with the head of the fair-trade foundation George Alagiah.

This is Dorchester’s biggest Festival to date. To book tickets now become a member of Dorchester Arts Centre. For more details call the festival box office on (01305) 266926.
