Pop rock band Lawson dropped into Wave 105 to catch-up with Andy Jackson for the first play of their brand new single ‘Money’.
Made up of Andy Brown on vocals, Ryan Fletcher on bass, Joel Peat on guitar and Adam Pitts on drums, the band have achieved seven top 20 hit singles in the UK including the likes of ‘Standing In The Dark’ and ‘When She Was Mine’.
Talking about the new single, ‘Money’, lead singer Andy Brown said: “It’s a song that we actually wrote a while back when we were an unsigned band, basically saying that you don’t need money to have a great time. We were just sort of gigging in a battered old van doing clubs and pubs and having a whale of a time.”
Lawson is named after surgeon Dr David Lawson who performed life-saving surgery on vocalist Andy Brown.
