Tribute paid to Whitney Houston
Singer Whitney Houston has died at the age of 48.
The singer, who was best known for singles 'How Will I Know' and 'I Will Always Love You', died in an LA Hotel.
In a press conference LAPD confirmed that an emergency call was made at 3.40pm with ambulance services arriving to the Beverly Hilton Hotel within two minutes. The singer was pronounced dead at 3.55pm.
Houston was staying in the hotel to attend a pre-show party for this year's Grammy Awards .
Police confirmed there were no signs of criminal intent and that a fill investigation was underway.
