About Simon Clarke
Story Highlight
Weekday afternoons from 1 or Sundays from 6am
Simon has been worked in radio since he was 18 which is a remarkable achievement for someone who up until then wanted to be a chef. He came to Wave 105 in 2006 after spells on air in Birmingham, Coventry, Peterborough, Leeds and The Home Counties. Away from work you'll find him in the kitchen, discovering new walks in The New Forest or indulging in his passion for cycling. In 2010 he swapped being on the air for falling through it at 126mph on a tandem skydive. First Job First Time On Air Favourite Song Favourite Gig Favourite Film Favourite Place Favourite Pub
He is currently reading as many books as he can find about beekeeping because his ambition is to make his own honey.
Simon is always up for a challenge and has completed numerous cycle rides for our charity Cash For Kids.
Catch Simon weekday afternoons from 1 or Sunday mornings from 6.
