Tim began his radio career at the age of 12 broadcasting to his mum and dad around the house via an old transistor radio which he somehow managed to convert into a small transmitter.
Many years later, after a brief spell on Radio Caroline on the North Sea, Tim came ashore having survived the great storm of '87 to work at the instore station Radio HMV in London.
After spending two years sitting in a goldfish bowl in the middle of the store and being stared at by customers, Tim landed the overnight slot on the now defunct Chiltern Network where he worked with Steve Power,Mark Collins and Simon Clarke.
Tim says one of his highlights there was dressing up as a banana to mark the opening of a new fruit and veg shop!
Then after a 3 year stint at Northants Radio presenting the mid morning show Tim moved the drive time slot at Hereward FM in Peterborough.
Before making the move down south to Wave 105 in 2007, Tim worked for the Classic Gold Network in Bedfordshire as producer and presenter but has always wanted to live on the South Coast so is more than pleased have joined the team at Wave 105 where he'll also be near the rest of his family.
In his spare time Tim likes eating out and getting out into the countryside to do a spot of geocaching, finding hidden treasures using sat-nav.
Tim also likes cycling, walking in the countryside especially the New Forest, family trips to the beach at West Wittering and Alum Chine and also enjoys travelling.
